We are just a step closer to moving, some of the moolah needed came in yesterday. We ran out to the mall and got Cass a winter coat. (It did snow just a bit yesterday, that might be a good idea!) She had hers from last year but I gave it to my niece. Aren't I nice? Give away my kid's winter coat and then she doesn't have one for a while? No, it actually worked out okay. We went to the store in the mall where I always buy my coats and sure enough, they were having a 40% off sale on all coats. She found an adorable little coat. It had a sale tag on it that said $89.99. I figured that was the sale price and that was what I would pay for this coat. We took it up there to buy it and it came to $57!! I was so excited about that. So we then had her get some gloves and a scarf. She looks so cute and it seems like it's really warm. Come Monday bills will be paid in full around here and then we'll do some shopping for the necessities we need to move. (such as bed sheets and bathroom stuff). Then we're OUT OF HERE!! I'm very excited. Cass is excited and Jax is very excited too!!! I have finally made peace with the Husker game yesterday. We did play the 5th ranked Texas after all. Just the fact that we stayed with them and almost beat them is good enough for me. I really thought it would be a blow out and I'm so proud of my boys that it wasn't. Last night after the game and after shopping we hit the Libary Lounge for supper. I must say, the prime rib sucked and it was expensive. So that's the last time I order that there. From there we went and picked up Abbs (Abby, Cassidy's best friend) because she was spending the night. Cassidy got Sims Pets yesterday at Best Buy so Abbs was excited to come play it (have I ever said my kid is totally ass spoiled? Because she is). We visited with Hitler for a bit and then took off and went to Sundance Feed and Seed with Hitler in tow. I LOVE THAT PLACE!! We looked at birdie stuff. We want to get them a newer, bigger cage so they can really fly around and exercise those wings. We then went and saw the puppies. Bad idea. I wanted to bring every one of them home they were so adorable. Well, if you get past the horrific smell that emitted from that room. But anyway. From there it was home where we visited with the neighbors for a bit and then I caught up on my DVR. And here I am, up at 6:30 on a Sunday morning and torturing myself again. Oh yay. At least I have something to look forward to ya know? past and future A few hours my ass! - 2007-05-07
Archives Cast Rings 101 things about me about me
I am a 34-year-old college student, mom, friend and all around sarcastic and fun loving person. I'm going to school to be a nurse. I recently quit a high paying job from home to get back into the hospital setting and to get my feet wet in nursing. I work on the Maternal Child Unit which includes the birthing center, perinatal care and Pediatrics. I LOVE IT! These last few years have been all about changes in my life. Although they have required great sacrifice, I know it will be worth it when I'm through. I have a great life and great family and friends and occasionally bitch about my white trash neighbors. Mostly here you will find rants and raves about various people, places, and circumstances. ENJOY! Loves: Nursing, chocolate, my daughter, family and friends, diet coke, Grey's Anatomy (DUH!), being out of my front patio in the summertime with my neighbors, babies, US Weekly magazine, reality TV, being smart and being a mother. Hates: Chemistry, online cyberstalkers who have no life but to be online 24/7 causing drama, my white trash neighbors, pepporoni pizza, mice, bugs, when it's too hot outside and I get sweaty, seafood, backstabbing people, liars, crooks, and when people play the "victim" and whine 24/7.
