My productivity I'm sure is utter shit this week and the bad part? I don't even care. Just get me outta here already! While I was home studying for my test, Jax went out to Texas T-Bone with Jada for supper. It sounds like they really had a great time. I'm SO happy about that. Sometimes Jax thinks my friends are weird or whatever she thinks, so the fact that she had a great time with one or more of them makes me ecstatic. See, they do have their moments when they are funnier than hell and fun to be around! The funniest moment was when her and Jada went to Bath & Body Works. My friend Karen works there. When they walked in, Karen put up her arm and said "Stop! I'm going to have to ask you to leave, the credit card company called and said you are denied!". Jax laughed her ass off. Apparently this was the third night in a row Jada had been over there. And she didn't just browse the two other nights, she spent money. Jax ended up getting a wallflower (a plug in scent thingie) and she went to get some scents for it and Karen corrected her, told her that I love the Kitchen Spice scent. How funny when the people who work there know what I like! So she got the Kitchen Spice and I'm telling you, it smells like a little piece of heaven! She got some other refills that I can't wait to smell also. It needs to smell nice in here because let me tell you, Cass has a friend who has been here after school every day. Her mom is actually a friend of ours and we're keeping her after school every day for two weeks while her mom gets training for a new job she's about to start. I have no idea what this girl eats, but she takes a huge dump every day in our house. It smells SO BAD!!!! This smell should not be emitted out of a 12 year old's ass! I'm a 34 year old woman with bowel problems and I'm not even that bad! And for some reason, she feels the need to leave the bathroom door open after she goes so that the stink will permeate throughout the house. Maybe that's what they do at THEIR house, but at our house we shut the door and stifle it for a while. It has to be something she's eating because I don't know what else would cause it to smell like that. Maybe it's because her mom makes them eat rotten food, I don't know. And I'm not just making an observation there, it's a known fact. I went into that bathroom TWO HOURS LATER last night to get ready for school and it still stunk to high heaven in there. So anyway, hopefully we're one step above it now that we have our wallflower. Took my test last night. I think I did okay. I'd love to say I'll get a 105 (5 points extra credit) but I know I won't. I should get an A anyway. I don't know, I guess we'll see. Oprah is going into the shop today to get some work done on her. I swear it's always something with this car. This time it's a thermostat or something. My car has been overheating a lot and when it gets hot it makes a really annoying knocking sound. So today hopefully that will take care of that. THen I hope we don't have to do anything anytime soon. We've already replaced the brake pads, water pump, and a tire. Let's hope this is the last of it for a while! This is why I drove the pinto for 10 whole years. In that time I think I replaced the starter and that was about it. It was a reliable little car and it never gave me any problems. It looked like shit with a big dent in it and the inside was tore up but who cares. I love my new car, but I wish she'd just be done getting fixed already. This weekend I get to go buy some more scrubs! I'm very excited about it. I love scrubs. I love the fact that I don't have to worry about what I'm going to wear to work, that part is already done for me. And since I'm working with babies and stuff maybe I'll get some cutesy ones. I have a feeling I'm going to feel like a different person when I'm done with all of this. The one thing I do know for sure, is after a few days of doing this new job my feet, legs, and hips are going to hurt like a mofo. There had better at least be a trade-off. I'd better at least take some of this weight off! Or else I'm just gonna be this fat chick with sore legs and a cute uniform. Of to work. I am a 34-year-old college student, mom, friend and all around sarcastic and fun loving person. I'm going to school to be a nurse. I recently quit a high paying job from home to get back into the hospital setting and to get my feet wet in nursing. I work on the Maternal Child Unit which includes the birthing center, perinatal care and Pediatrics. I LOVE IT! These last few years have been all about changes in my life. Although they have required great sacrifice, I know it will be worth it when I'm through. I have a great life and great family and friends and occasionally bitch about my white trash neighbors. Hates: Chemistry, online cyberstalkers who have no life but to be online 24/7 causing drama, my white trash neighbors, pepporoni pizza, mice, bugs, when it's too hot outside and I get sweaty, seafood, backstabbing people, liars, crooks, and when people play the "victim" and whine 24/7.
