Rain on my parade
My job is done.
I'd love to say I'm so overjoyed about my new job on Monday but if I did I'd be lying.
Every ounce of excitement that I had for this job was shit upon last night like you would never believe. What has happened is so far unfathomable you wouldn't believe it if I told ya.
I am completely emotionally drained and exhausted. I even left early today.
Maybe I'll talk about it sometime. But right now it's so fresh and I have to focus my energy on trying to un-traumatize my child and assure her that all will be okay.
Let me just reiterate that "doing the right thing" will help you in the end. You may have to walk away when you wanna run and kick some ass, but in the end, YOU look better when you do the right thing.
Thank God for Jax, she's helping me through this time.
And when Monday comes, I will walk in that hospital with my head held high. I will smile and greet my new co-workers and know that I'm doing the right thing here.
And to those who disagree, may you go to hell and have an eternity of sitting on hot coals naked with a fireplace poker permanently up your ass.
