Got Hockey? 2006-11-18 2:03 p.m. Last night we went to a hockey game. It was so fun! I haven't been to one yet this year so I was more than ready to go. There was hardly anybody there so we got AWESOME seating. Second row, right by the opposing penalty box. It was a lot of fun. Jax caught a puck for Cass and then they were launching T-shirts from The Buckle, since they were the sponsor for the night. Jax caught Cass a T-shirt too. It was like a medium and there's no way my fat ass would fit in it. Here's some pics from the night... Here they are at the end, when they won the shootout and won the game! GO STORM!!!!! It was so fun to just get out and do something fun. It's been a while and we're all just tired and stressed and in need of a good time. This morning the cable went out and we all got a little nervous because we wanted to watch the Ohio State-Michigan name. Just like everybody else in the United States. It finally just came back in, right in time. Whoever was working on that cable was probably wanting to see the game too. So today involves football and relaxing. Thank goodness!!!! Tonight we're having a big dinner. I put a ham in the crockpot. We're gonna make corn bread (with butter and syrup yummmmmmmmmmmy) and mashed potatoes. Is there a better meal? I think not. Huskers have a bye week so there's no Husker game on dammit. I'll get over it though. That's about all that's going on here. It was a LONG ASS week and I'm so glad to have a few days of rest before I start again on Monday. But I really won't bitch whatsoever. I have Thanksgiving off as well as the rest of the weekend.
