I work, therefore I am
Day 3 of my 4 day run. It would be an understatement if I said I was exhausted. One more day....I keep telling myself one more day...and then I have 6 off!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
When I left we had 8 babies. Can you believe that? That's the most we've had at one time since I've been working there. Maybe that's not even the most they've had, who the hell knows. But do you know how tired you are at the end of the day when you are taking care of 8 babies and their moms? Trust me, it's tiring. But so rewarding. Every day I go to work I'm sure I want to be an OB nurse.
I really have nothing else to even write about because for the last 3 days my entire life has revolved around work so sorry!
But the good (or is it?) news is that Friday is my birthday! Not sure how I feel about that though. It's the big 35. I can now say I'm in my mid 30s. Not that my 30s have been bad, they've actually been great. I don't think I'll have any problems until I'm 40. Then some tears may be shed my friends.
With that I'm gonna go relax until I go to bed. I forget but I'm trying to remember to take some Tylenol PM so I can sleep hard at night. Except I need to take it by 8 PM. And darn it, I missed already tonight. But the way I'm feeling, sleep isn't far off.
