My typical day and bodily functions
Yeah, that last entry really brought back some memories! Boy has my life changed!!! For the good I think. Here's a realistic outline of my average day now....
5:00 AM: Alarm goes off. Hit snooze for about 15 minutes.
5:20-5:25 AM: Get up and cuss while heading to the shower. Try to catch a few more snoozes while going pee.
5:25 AM: Take quick shower. Remember not to fall asleep and forget to use soap (I did that last week).
5:30-5:50 AM: Blow dry hair, get dressed, wake up Jax and tell her to take my draggin ass to work.
6:00 AM - 6:30 PM: Work my ass off like a slave. Run around like a chicken with my head cut off. Get lots of exercise.
6:30 PM: Come home to dinner literally on the table waiting for me to eat. Yummy!!!!
7:00-9:00 PM: Watch some boob tube or get to studying. Here lately, it's studying.
9:00-10:00 PM: Start telling the kid she has to get in the shower and get cleaned up for the night. Make sure she does that. Check her hair to make sure she got all of the soap out, make sure she washes her face and brushes her teeth.
10:00 PM: Get the kid to bed. Go to bed and watch Sex and the City until 11:00 PM.
11:00 PM: Turn off the TV and attempt to sleep. All while cussing and wishing I could sleep in the next day but I have to go back to work.
Voila! That's my typical work day. Doesn't sound very interesting does it?
Today every kid in my town is sick and needing to be admitted to Pediatrics. I literally had kids sneezing, coughing, pooping and peeing on me. Isn't that just the life?
How on earth I have not come down with every bug, virus, or bacterial infection is just amazing to me. I guess I have a good immune system. Call me immune girl! Because the crap I swim in all day at work.....it's no surprise I'm not in isolation somewhere in a bubble, temporarily placed in isolation until they find out I have the bubonic plaque, in which case they throw me in Pediatrics to be nursed back to health.
I'm super immune girl!
