THEY'RE GONE! THEY'RE GONE!!!! *jumps up and down*
The assholes next door officially moved out yesterday. We were all ecstatic, trust me. I'm all...what? no goodbye??? ha ha ha! I'm sure they backed up the pick-up and gave us the big ole middle finger. And that's okay because I would have given it back had I been given the chance.
And now I don't have to face that asshole in court either (at least not this next week) so I'm really pleased as all get-out about that deal.
Things are looking up my friends. First I get my income tax refund and go buy a few toys which I do every year and then yesterday in the mail I get a refund check from my college. Apparently my pell grant came in and it was way more than they told me originally AND I didn't spend near all of it so they cut me a check for the difference. I won't even type here how much it was but it was NICE. So that's cool. All is looking up. We're just one step closer to getting things all squared away here. I feel so good about things right now. It's been a ROUGH few months around here and things are finally falling into place. It makes me feel good.
And with that little affirmation I really need to go read like 70 pages in Developmental Psych and study for my test on Thursday. Not to fricken mention an outline for a paper I have to write yet.
My life is just so god damned glamorous isn't it?
Oh to be 35 and in college. Some days I can't figure out in the HELL I do this. Then it comes to me. Three letters.
