Bored
Day #4 of not having to work. I'm getting incredibly bored. Jax was sick for the past 2 days so we haven't done anything. I offered to work at my second job Saturday and Sunday just to get me out of the house. But it's good money and you make extra for working on the weekends. And 8 hours goes so fast!!!! (compared to my 12.5 at my full-time job).
One fun thing though is that Cass and I are going to go see a musical Saturday night at my alma mater high school. They are doing "Thoroughly Modern Day Millie" which I think will be really good. It will be interesting to see how it translates to a high school stage. Plus the girl who has the lead is phenomenal. In the paper today the director said to get her autograph now because she is going to be a star. It sounds cheesy and cliche, but she really IS that good. I saw her perform at the finals for "Nebraska Idol" last summer. The winner got to audition for American Idol. But her song choice sucked ass. She chose a song from the musical "Sweeney Todd" which was good but you don't sing musical numbers for something like this...you sing contemporary songs. Anyway, we'll see what she does with her life.
Other than those things, not much to speak of going on around here. Cass is having some friends come over here tonight so it should be a busy place and I'm sure I'll get annoyed but that's what having a house full of 12 year old girls will do for you.
Can't wait for Grey's tonight. It's finally a new one. Hopefully I won't bawl like I have the last few. Love me some Grey's Anatomy. If I could work at that hospital I would LOL. But don't worry, I realize it's not real!
