That's right my friends. Black leather, Harley jacket, assless chaps, bandana on her head and riding boots. It was insane. And the grandkids loved it! The next day we went to church and we fixed up Emily's hair so cute. I curled it up all nice.
Here's us before church. I actually sorta looked kinda looked nice.
Here's Miss Emmy Lou (her name is Emily but I've always called her Emmy Lou) with the Bratz doll we gave her.
Here's Emmy Lou blowing out the candles on her Bratz cake.
This is a little 10 month old boy who Jax babysat one day. His name is Zack. And he was really cute. And much to my surprise, Jax got along well with him and took good care of him (except when she made him choke because she didn't cut up his veggies small enough LOL) and she took pics of him and here's one of them.
So...we found out last week that the Teutels from OCC (American Chopper TV show) are building a custom chopper for the Nebraska Lottery. They are drawing for the bike at the State Fair Park in June and making an appearance. Which is just awesome and we plan to go and see them. Anyway, the bike has been on a little tour of the state so that we can see it ahead of time and get the opportunity to buy the OCC scratch-off tickets. Today the bike was in our town so Jax and I went to see it. Here's some pictures of it.
Isn't that a sweet bike? I especially loved the cardboard cut-out of the Teutels behind it he he he he.
And this was my life in the last week in pictures. Aren't you thrilled? Sorry, got distracted by "Ace of Cakes". I love that show. But apparently I love every TV show that's on right now. Tonight Jax and I took my nephew Keithen bowling. It was a lot of fun. He's going to a group home tomorrow and doesn't get family contact for 30 days. That is going to be tough. So we took him bowling. I beat everybody's butts the first game and bowled a 134. Then Jax and I decided to "throw" the last game so that he would win. Well I messed up and accidentally won but I only bowled like an 82 or something. It was pud for me but I didn't beat him by much. Then we played a game of pool and he did beat us but that was because he's better. There was this video game that was called 18 Wheeler and it was like the cab of a big rig. Well if you know Jax you know that her dream job is to be a truck driver. So she climbed into that big rig and played her a game of 18 Wheeler. She loved it. And we had a lot of fun spending time with my nephew. And now it's late and I must go to bed. Happy Friday to you about 2 hours and 20 minutes early. past and future A few hours my ass! - 2007-05-07
Archives Cast Rings 101 things about me about me
I am a 34-year-old college student, mom, friend and all around sarcastic and fun loving person. I'm going to school to be a nurse. I recently quit a high paying job from home to get back into the hospital setting and to get my feet wet in nursing. I work on the Maternal Child Unit which includes the birthing center, perinatal care and Pediatrics. I LOVE IT! These last few years have been all about changes in my life. Although they have required great sacrifice, I know it will be worth it when I'm through. I have a great life and great family and friends and occasionally bitch about my white trash neighbors. Mostly here you will find rants and raves about various people, places, and circumstances. ENJOY! Loves: Nursing, chocolate, my daughter, family and friends, diet coke, Grey's Anatomy (DUH!), being out of my front patio in the summertime with my neighbors, babies, US Weekly magazine, reality TV, being smart and being a mother. Hates: Chemistry, online cyberstalkers who have no life but to be online 24/7 causing drama, my white trash neighbors, pepporoni pizza, mice, bugs, when it's too hot outside and I get sweaty, seafood, backstabbing people, liars, crooks, and when people play the "victim" and whine 24/7.
