 The People in My Life Cass - my 12 y/o daughter. She's a handful most of the time but she's still mine and I love her. Jen - my sister who is 31. I love her and her kids. I love her kids like my own. We've always been close and I hope that never changes.
Jada - My wonderful friend now for 10 years. We've been through everything together. She's a lot of fun and currently season ticket holder for my favorite hockey team. She can be Martha Stewart collecting dinnerware one minute and a wild child dancing on tables drunk the next. And that's what I love about her. Terri - Used to live next door to me. We hung out very limitedly when she lived here. Now that she has moved away we have hung out much more. She's a lot of fun and likes to speak her mind. Very devoted to her family, unlike anybody I've ever seen. Karen - My most girlie girl friend. She wears high heels for every occasion and carries her Gucci purse. She hates anything that involves getting dirty and sweaty and always looks like she just stepped off the pages of Vogue. Mom - My mom. She can be at times very funny and ditzy. She can be your harest critic and turn around and be the most supportive person in the world. Regardless I do know that she loves us and wants the best for us kids. It's just that sometimes she has a funny way of showing it. John - My 38 year-old brother who lives in Illinois. He is married with three kids. He teaches and coaches at a high school there. His wife stays at home and cares for the kids. They are Beaver Cleaver all the way. Sometimes I wonder how we were even born to the same parents. He's a very good guy. Loves his kids and probably the reason he gets along with them so well is because he is just a big giant kid himself. Corey - aka Corky. He is Cassidy's dad. He is married with 2 other kids besides Cass. He loves his daughter very much. He can't stand me or the way I parent our daughter but regardless, he's still her father. Wendy - Cassidy's stepmom. Was also known as "the other woman" for a short period of time but I digress. For the most part we get along. She's always nice and friendly to me and if I need to talk to anybody over there I'm more comfortable talking to her. But I also know her niceness towards me is an act so I don't trust her as far as I could throw her.
T, M, and TJ They are my next door neighbors who are constantly starting drama and making sure we all get involved. I may also refer to them as L.F. (lazy fuck) and D.B. (dumb bitch). TJ is their baby whom I love dearly. T is a drunk, hot headed asshole who is always looking to kick somebody's ass and M is a liar who loves to slam beers when she's home alone with her kid. I try to stay out of the drama anymore. It's so much damn work. And it's not worth it. Shaun and Laura - she is my neighbor upstairs and her boyfriend. They are very young but lots of fun. No drama there and that's alright with me. She is going to school to be a hair stylist and I think she'll be very good at it. He's cool too, though a tad bit immature. But he's the comic relief in our building and is just trying to keep things in a good place. I like both of them. Rebecca and Diane - Our other neighbors. Mother and daughter comedy duo, let me tell you. They are hilarious. Diane has lymphoma and her hair is finally starting to grow back. She's sick a lot of the time but still tries to have a smile on her face. When you get those two together, hilarity always ensues. Hitler (aka Shelly) - A good friend of mine. Her daughter and my daughter are best friends. She's the complete opposite of me. She runs 8 miles a day and doesn't eat anything if it isn't healthy for you. She doesn't eat sugar. Really she doesn't eat much of anything. I personally feel she has an eating disorder but that's just me. Her husband is a total drunk who lost his license finally for a year and now she drives his ass around to work and everywhere else 24/7. I don't know how she puts up with it. I used to feel sorry for her and her situation but I no longer do because she choses to stay in that horrible situation and expose her kids to it on a daily basis. But regardless, I like her alot and will support her. And to be honest, she is truly one of the funniest people I have ever met in my life. We call her Hitler because sometimes she comes over to our house and makes us go walk with her and walking to her is like a light jog to us. She's a ball buster about exercise. I need to hang around her more often, maybe I'd actually lose some weight. Linda and Steve - My neighbors next door. They don't live in the apts, but in a house next to the apartments. We've become friends with them and they are VERY nice. Steve is an accountant with his own business and Linda doesn't have to work at all for a living. She does help him at the office during tax season though. The rest of the time she does her "hobby" of painting the interior of peoples' homes, going to the casinos and blowing all of her husbands money and going shopping and also blowing her husband's money. I love it! She's alot of fun and you know when they are around there will be beer and lots of fun involved! past and future A few hours my ass! - 2007-05-07

I am a 34-year-old college student, mom, friend and all around sarcastic and fun loving person. I'm going to school to be a nurse. I recently quit a high paying job from home to get back into the hospital setting and to get my feet wet in nursing. I work on the Maternal Child Unit which includes the birthing center, perinatal care and Pediatrics. I LOVE IT! These last few years have been all about changes in my life. Although they have required great sacrifice, I know it will be worth it when I'm through. I have a great life and great family and friends and occasionally bitch about my white trash neighbors. Mostly here you will find rants and raves about various people, places, and circumstances. ENJOY! Loves: Nursing, chocolate, my daughter, family and friends, diet coke, Grey's Anatomy (DUH!), being out of my front patio in the summertime with my neighbors, babies, US Weekly magazine, reality TV, being smart and being a mother. Hates: Chemistry, online cyberstalkers who have no life but to be online 24/7 causing drama, my white trash neighbors, pepporoni pizza, mice, bugs, when it's too hot outside and I get sweaty, seafood, backstabbing people, liars, crooks, and when people play the "victim" and whine 24/7.
